More Hiring in 2011

College seniors around the country can begin to feel slightly optimistic, but still frightful about their futures in “the real world”.  A recent survey of business economists show that companies will be hiring at a rate that hasn’t been seen in 12 years.

Although this is just a prediction, the rate is much higher than it was at this point last year; the percentage of companies planning to increase their staff is at 42%.

Additionally, some companies are hiring, and hiring many new employees at that. CNN released a list of 25 companies that have thousands of positions open.

Things are beginning to look up for the economy, and we might be able to put 2008 behind us. The recession was caused by many people making mistakes with large assets, and most importantly, their homes. The housing bubble burst was a considerable issue and one that people pinpoint as the largest issue of the crisis.

Making wise decisions concerning your house is something that cannot be understated. From where to buy it, what color to paint it, how to finance it, and how to insure it, the list of crucial decisions goes on and on.

You do not want to overlook anything on your Homeowner’s Insurance Policy and you want to make sure that you have everything covered. You may even want to look into adding additional liability coverage with Personal Umbrella Insurance. So talk to your local Encharter Insurance agent today, obtain a free quote at www.encharter.com or stop by an office at your leisure.

Roof Maintenance

Nobody likes to dodge buckets while you’re walking from your bedroom to your kitchen, so here are some tips for maintenance and repair, courtesy of HomeownerNet.com:

  • Check to see if trees are growing too close to the roof
  • Check to see if there are any black or discoloring streaks on the roof
  • Inspect the roof for signs of damage

If you maintain your roof, you help prevent any damage that may result from unattended issues.

Of course, you can’t always see the weaknesses that may surprise you, so when that happens, be sure that your CT homeowners insurance policy can have you covered! Talk to an Encharter Insurance agent today about your CT home insurance and they can help you rest assured that your home is protected.
