“Eye” on the Back of his Head, Literally!
Parents and teachers alike are known for seemingly having a third eye that can see any troublemaking that occurs behind them. This mystical power has always contained no evidence, just the fact that they always seemed to know what was going on all around them. Sometimes they use tricks, such as using a mirror or simply listening. However, a New York University professor has gone above and beyond and implanted a camera on the back of his head.
Obviously one would think this would involve wearing a hat that has a video camera attached to the back, but Wafaa Bilal took this project one step further. Bilal actually had surgery to implant a camera on the back of his head for an art project. Clearly, he is dedicated to his craft and the camera will take a picture once every minute for a whole year. His project will be released next year in Qatar.
Reporters in warzones use a similar technique to have a 360 degree view while shooting abroad. For many people, a camera for looking behind is used for safety. Personal Umbrella Insurance from Encharter Insurance can be seen as a “third eye” of sorts. Umbrella insurance helps protect against the unexpected. It extends your liability coverage by about $1 million.
So although you might not need an extra camera or Spy Sunglasses, Encharter can help protect you against the unwanted and unexpected. Give your Watertown CT Insurance Agent a call at (888) 865-1244 or find us on Facebook and Twitter. Visit Bilal’s website at http://www.3rdi.me/ when he gets the project fully underway.
The Pats Trade Randy Moss?!
Last week, Patriot nation was semi-shocked to see that Randy Moss was traded to the Minnesota Vikings for a measly third round pick in next year’s draft. Sure, he had zero catches against the Miami Dolphins, but he is a first ballot Hall of Famer and a constant threat on the field. That being said, “In Belichick I Trust”; better to get a pick for him now than lose him at the end of the year for nothing. Surprisingly, they traded him to a team that the Pats face later this year. The game on Halloween will gain plenty of publicity because Moss comes to town in a Vikings uniform to face the questionable Patriots defense. Sport networks across the country will be talking about the contest.
Without Moss, the Patriots will just have to find other ways to win. The Pats never had a deep threat like Moss back when they won three Super Bowls in four years. They will have to revert back to those years with Tom Brady spreading the ball around and the defense making big stands and bigger plays like they did last week at Miami. The offense will have a magnifying glass over them for the rest of the year to see if they can still produce; the defense will need to step up their performance a notch.
No matter what happens, I will be watching the games every Sunday with my friends to root on the Patriots. If you have friends over enjoying the weekly afternoon events or prefer tailgating, make sure you drink responsibly. If you’ve got people over, though, you should know that you are liable if anything bad should happen. You are going to need some additional liability coverage to protect you from the losses of a potential lawsuit. Talk to your Encharter Insurance agent to discuss Umbrella Insurance to make sure you get that additional liability coverage so that you can enjoy watching the game in ease.

Why Umbrella Insurance from Encharter?
Staring out the window last week while looking at the daunting amount of rain was a daily occurrence. Struggling to put my foot out the door, I could only improve my attitude by being grateful it wasn’t snow yet. Every day each conversation would start on a similar track, “Hey there! Brutal rain we’re having, aren’t we?” It was the talk of the town and the talk of the whole East Coast.
As someone who carries around my laptop to work rain or shine, it is crucial to have an umbrella. Making sure my laptop stays dry and functioning is the only way I can get work done. Even though walking into work with a non-functioning computer would let me gaze at the wall for a day, I would prefer to have it working and safe. Luckily, I own a great umbrella; if I didn’t, I would have had to buy a new laptop every day last week!
A Personal Umbrella Insurance policy is kind of like that trusty umbrella you leave in your car for “just in case…”. If you get into a car accident or someone gets hurt while on your property, then the liability limits on your Car Insurance policy or your Homeowners Insurance policy may not be enough. An Umbrella Insurance policy provides additional liability coverage that can protect you from the losses of a potential lawsuit.
