Anybody remember the Concorde Crash of 2000 in France? The accident killed 113 people at Charles de Gaulle airport in Paris and, according to a recent article, “a French court found Continental Airlines and a mechanic at the airline guilty on Monday of involuntary manslaughter in connection with the…crash.” I’d be willing to bet that Continental Airlines was not expecting that kind of verdict…don’t let that be your business. Really wish I could approach the morning like these people…Good news? They’re actors, and reality says that most of them probably woke up wishing for what I did this morning: an extra hour of sleep. Especially on the cold, rainy and raw mornings that Connecticut experienced yesterday and today, I found myself wrapped up in my cozy bed wishing that the clock read 6:00am instead of 7:00am. Well folks, for one day out of every year, our wishes come true and that day arrives for us this Sunday, November 7. Aren’t you excited?

The Pats Trade Randy Moss?!
Last week, Patriot nation was semi-shocked to see that Randy Moss was traded to the Minnesota Vikings for a measly third round pick in next year’s draft. Sure, he had zero catches against the Miami Dolphins, but he is a first ballot Hall of Famer and a constant threat on the field. That being said, “In Belichick I Trust”; better to get a pick for him now than lose him at the end of the year for nothing. Surprisingly, they traded him to a team that the Pats face later this year. The game on Halloween will gain plenty of publicity because Moss comes to town in a Vikings uniform to face the questionable Patriots defense. Sport networks across the country will be talking about the contest.
Without Moss, the Patriots will just have to find other ways to win. The Pats never had a deep threat like Moss back when they won three Super Bowls in four years. They will have to revert back to those years with Tom Brady spreading the ball around and the defense making big stands and bigger plays like they did last week at Miami. The offense will have a magnifying glass over them for the rest of the year to see if they can still produce; the defense will need to step up their performance a notch.
No matter what happens, I will be watching the games every Sunday with my friends to root on the Patriots. If you have friends over enjoying the weekly afternoon events or prefer tailgating, make sure you drink responsibly. Car Insurance Myths De-Mystified

- Red cars are NOT the most expensive to insure.
- Thieves are more likely to steal OLDER cars, not newer ones.
- Unless you have comprehensive coverage on your car insurance policy, you are NOT covered if your car is stolen, vandalized or damaged by hail or fire.
- Unless you have gap insurance, your insurance will NOT pay off what you owe on your loan or lease if your car is totaled.
- Unless you have rental reimbursement coverage on your car insurance policy, your insurance company will NOT pay for a rental car if your car is stolen or damaged in an accident.
- Drivers of sports cars DO NOT necessarily get more tickets and thus pay higher insurance premiums.
